Baby Symphony

Symphony is such a pretty baby. I love her hair and all the super cute bows & outfits she wore for our session. I got to use my new backgrounds & a few of my new props with her, that was so much fun for me. I'm loving my new camera & lens, it's so nice to have the image come out the way I want it & I don't have much editing to do. I love the way these turned out, baby Symphony is such a doll!!

Upgrade...

Well it's almost the end of summer & as I mentioned on my facebook page, I have been working on upgrading a few things with my photography. First, I got a new camera & lenes- I couldn't be happier with my new toy, I'm in love with this camera. That alone was a major upgrade. I mean my old camera & lens weren't too shabby but my new camera & the two lenes I got are ssoooo much better. Then I am almost finished getting everything I want to upgrade my inside sessions. In the past I have been doing my inside sessions the ghetto fabulous way, which you have to admit wasn't horrible. But now I have real back grounds & better props. I still ONLY use natural light, so anyone wanting an inside session needs to have plenty of space and good lighting in your home (Inside sessions are done in your home). Maybe one day I'll actually get studio lighting but for now the sun & I get along just fine. I can't wait to use everything & show it all off. Along with my upgrades, there is a slight increase in my prices. But hey no one else can compare to my prices & what all I do for you. I hope you're all excited & happy about my upgrades because trust me I am so happy!!!

Stewart & Bree Engaged

Ok this couple is sooo cute & perfect together, it almost makes me sick! They're such a good lookin couple that they'd make anyones photography look good. I had a really hard time narrowing down the pictures I wanted to post because there were too many to choose from. If I could post all the pictures from our session I would. Congrats Stewart & Bree on your engagement!!

The 4 T's

Well I got a new camera and lens. So I used my sisters beautiful babies for practice. I am in love with my new camera and lens, I just need to figure out all the millions of new options I have on my new camera. & you probably can't tell by these pictures but you'd think because they are my nieces & nephews that they would be easy to photograph, but no they are such stinkers when it comes to pictures! But yeah I'm excited to learn and use my new camera!! More upgrades for amy castro photography are in the works, be patient, I'm excited about the upgrades coming!

Roorda Family

The Roorda family have such an adorable little boy, it's not even funny. His smile with his dimples, oh my goodness, too cute! This family was so easy to photograph, not only are they a super cute family but this was one of my shortest sessions ever! I kind of felt weird being done so quickly, but they were so cooperative it was really nice. Thanks Roorda family for being so easy & having such great smiles!!

Tipton Family

This is the Tipton family, as you can see they are such a cute family. Their older daughter made me laugh, when I'd ask her to smile pretty for me, she'd tilt her head and shrug her shoulders up- it was really cute. Their daughters eyes are amazingly beautiful, these pictures do not show it justice. I love the way these turned out, good looking family + pictures = good looking pictures. (:

Lil Regi

I love how his nose is scrunched in this picture (: Regi was fantastic to photograph, he smiled all by himself. His parents and I didn't even have to bother trying to get him to look at the camera & smile. We only had to get to stay still a few times, he was too busy walking around checking the place out. But he did awesome, I love that he just gave us such perfect smiles with no problem! I tried to get him to sit on this little stool, but he didn't want his parents help or my help sitting on the chair- he wanted to do it all by himself. As you can see in the last picture he tried, he walked around it a few times trying to decide how he should get on, then he tried putting his knees up there & climbing up but he fell. Good thing he didn't get hurt, he got right back up & kept trying. It was funny, all of us were laughing & I'm glad I got the fall in action (:
